My Philosophy

I believe in taking time to know the families I am helping. It's vital that we find a personalized solution, because every family's situation and lifestyle is unique. Continued support along the improved-sleep journey is also vital.  When children are sleeping well, the whole family benefits!

My Story

I'm a mother of three children, a 10 year old daughter and two sons ages 7 and 4.  I'm also a part-time dental hygienist.  Some people have asked what made me become a sleep consultant? I sleep trained my first two children with some tips I learned in a book. There were some bumps in the road, but for the most part, it worked and we were all sleeping well very early on. At this point, we felt like pros that could handle another baby no problem. Boy were we wrong! Our third baby spent the majority of his first 11 weeks of his life crying unless he was being nursed. He didn't do anything resembling sleeping through the night until he was nearly 9 months old. We finally achieved this after a lot of research and trial and error. I had been interested in sleep consulting from the time I first heard of it when our oldest was a baby. After our experience with our third, I decided I wanted to gain more knowledge to help families not have the same exhausting experience we had. I also believe it is important to enjoy newborns as much as possible, and let's face it, everyone needs sleep to be at their best!
